]]>Please bring in milk bags as we have a parishioner who is going to begin to make mats which are used for flooring in disaster struck areas. Please rinse the bags using a cloth with a vinegar and water solution. All milk bags, even those with holes, are accepted.

]]>At the Feb 2015 vestry St Matthias voted in favour of sponsoring an Iraqi family to come to Ottawa from Jordan where they have sought temporary refuge. Our refugee work is pressing ahead. We are now in the process of creating the detailed lists of tasks for welcoming the family. If you are interested in helping with some of this, please contact the incumbent or wardens." ]]>The parish continues to support the Ottawa Diocesean Ministries: Centre 454, Cornerstone Housing for Women, Ottawa Pastoral Care Counselling Centre, St. Luke's Table and The Well.
All the agencies welcome donations for those less fortunate. Donations of Womens' clothing should be directed to the Well. St. Luke's Table are requesting mugs. Donations of mugs can be left at the back of the church.
